Cary CAD-300se as a headphone amp?
I have a pair of 10W Cary CAD-300se monoblocks that I would like to use as a headphone amps. After googling around, I found that headphones can be connected to a power amp by simply wiring a 100 ohm resistor in line with each L and R channel. Old Audio Alchemy DAC in the Box
Sadly, my laptop does not have SPDIF out. My desktop died a few weeks ago and I will certainly put SPDIF out on my requirements list for my new desktop! Do you think the DITB still has some life in it or I should I put it up on ebay? -dave- dalbert02
