Thanks MLE for your GC7 review. I think you're the only one to point out broken SBX on this device. I recorded some samples to pinpoint what's going wrong. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-uPvHa8vNgJdEMlaZMP6rbbBTU0NerZH?usp=sharing (As usual, disable all sound processing to ear this...- darky_mtp

Creative Sound Blaster new series Z, Zx & ZxR
I don't have IEM but I guess that ZxR with very sensitive devices like Shure E5 is a mismatch. ZxR is designed toward high impedance, hard to drive headphones. Using DT880/250 with a Z, I don't have background noise at all and plenty of power.- darky_mtp

Corda Opera- Pics. Who else has reserved one?
"the sum of the voltages of the 4 wires is constantly zero." V1+V2+V3+V4=0 So GND=(-L-R)/4 But what happens with a 3 wires cable ? GND becomes (-L-R)/3 ?- darky_mtp

Corda Aria USB volume irregularities?
Nothing wrong here, Windows(r) set volume to half when you connect a sound device. May be a mod inside the Aria, using volume control on PCM2704 (HID1/MC) can set the volume to full.- darky_mtp

Corda Aria - Appreciation Thread.
Usually ASIO is for low latency. As far as I know, it is bypassing Windows audio mixer, but if 'master' and 'pcm' are set to 100%, the mixer doesn't interfer. You can say you can A/B recognize linux sound from windows sound with aria ?- darky_mtp
