    Snell Type C speakers

Snell is no longer in business. Atomic Hi Fi has parts, but very expensive. There is a man on the internet that can do a refoam of the woofers. Google "Carl's Speakers". He is quite good. As to the tweeters, it is best to go original, but Simply Speakers may have something that would match. Hope...

    Speaker cables and Interconnect help.

I  have only tried the Aural Thrills active interconnect with teflon connectors.  VERY VERY good.  I have Morrow SM6 speaker cables.  I started with the SP2's, then moved to the 4's, and finally the 6's.  The 2's were quite good, but the improvement was noticeable at each level.  I also have a...

    Speaker cables and Interconnect help.

I have found Morrow cables to be very good for the money. Also, SoundSilver cables are bang for the buck a real bargain.  Both of these have a 30-60 day money back trial period.  Also, the Aural Thrills "active" cable with the silver teflon connectors is very very good for the dollars.  Hope...

    Cable break-in and warm-up period?

I don't understand it, but with quality cables, they do get better with a break in period.  The average that has worked for me is in the 100-200 hour range.  People can rail at me all they want and say I'm nuts.  I don't care.  I know it works and I have heard it for myself.  However, if you are...

    Anyone tried Active Shielded Interconnects?

I have a set of Aural Thrills that I recently got.  I replaced Morrow MA 5's with the Aural Thrills cable.  First impressions:  Larger soundstage, better placement of instruments, (bongo drums you can actually hear the slight left to right of the drums), bass about the same, mid range much more...

What are some really good speaker wires?

Some of the best wires I have used are from Morrow Audio.  They have a great guarantee and do some amazing things if you have good equipment.  Mike Morrow is also great to deal with.  Start with the SP2 cables.  If you get this message in the next day or so, look on ebay and there are a set of...

    Snell Type C speakers

I have both Type C with the rear tweeter, and just acquired Type C IV's.  The C IV's are amazing.  The Type C's are extremely good and I will not part with either.  I was using Vandersteen 2Ci's and before that DCM TimeWindow 1A's.  The Snells blow them all away.  In my research, I'm convinced...
