So. I got the O2+ODAC combo some 3 weeks ago or so. It's been okay, not a huge improvement over the modern Denon AVR in my opinion. Yeah, you can drive it with higher volume while maintaining better quality, but I don't need to do that. I'm sort of sad I didn't save up for a proper tube amp...

So. I bought a O2+ODAC combo from someone who ordered a few of them to build them and sell off for fun. It's been used for a month. Let's see if it'll work, I've saved some 60 euros if it does. I'm just a bit sad that it's hideous and someone had a brainfart and set the power plug on the front...

  I would love to have a tube amp, but it seems like you need to spend quite a bit of cash to get one that's really great. Well, it sure would be wise to save for one but hmmh... 

Hmm, there's a used Lehmann Rhinelander for sale for pretty cheap... Hard to find any info on how these cans and that amp would pair up. Guess I'll buy the O2+ODAC combo, unless I can find something better used.   Edit: yeah, I sure could go and take a listen, but I really don't want to...
