Head-Fi App
I agree, having a Head-Fi app on my phone will be great. I would also gladly pay for one. I am sure there are a few developers here that use the forums. Maybe someone is already working on one- hima2809

Need a smartphone with great sound quality
IMO the headphones you use have the most affect on the sound quality. I have an iPhone 4 and a galaxy s2 and i was not satisfied with both of them sound quality wise. I was using them with my Klipsch S4i. Recently I bought the Shure SE 535s and the Westone 4Rs. And i was like "OMG...- hima2809

Shure Se535 for a Westone 4/4r owner ?
I have a pair of both the Westone 4r's and the Shure SE535 Special Edition. IMO the SE 535 do have more bass than the Westone 4R. The bass on the Shures is more fun to listen to. However I prefer the neutral sound of the Westone 4r. I listen to a lot of rock and metal and the mids...- hima2809

Where do my fellow Australian Head-fiers buy their equipment from?
Actually that has happened with me a few times. I have ordered stuff from eBay, where the seller is listed as Australian. But the items were shipped from China. I now try to avoid eBay as much as I can. It is always worthwhile to order from a reputed seller online. You might have to pay a...- hima2809

Does it matter which Ipod I use?
The ipod classic 7th Gen is discussed quite extensively in this thread with regards to LOD. http://www.head-fi.org/t/579308/ipod-classic-7th-gen-specifics And it seems it is the more preferred option among the two. Then there is also the extra storage capacity that you're...- hima2809

Where do my fellow Australian Head-fiers buy their equipment from?
Hi I was facing a similar problem a few weeks ago when I was in the market for a new set of IEMs. I put up in Adelaide and there are not a lot of shops out here that stock Audiophile grade equipment. So my only option was to purchase one online from a reputed retailer. I...- hima2809
