Selling my Dan Clark Audio Stealths and a few cables. I’ve probably listened to them around 75 hours or so and when not in use, they’ve been folded in the case with the 3D printed block between the cushions. They’re in near perfect condition. Dan Clark Audio Stealth Review, Interview, Measurements
If you like OSTs, I’d also recommend the Tenet soundtrack. More electronic than orchestra, but it sounds amazing in the Stealth- dreadedphoto

Dan Clark Audio Stealth Review, Interview, Measurements
There’s a bit of distance between the amp and my listening position, so I’m not worried about the fan noise, but the subwoofer out with a pair of open backs sounds like fun. Guess I need both!- dreadedphoto

Dan Clark Audio Stealth Review, Interview, Measurements
I wish the Passion for sound review talked more about the amp pairings other than the TT2. I’m curious about how it sounds with the Soloist GT. I just bought an Oor/Hypsos combo, but the GT was the other amp in the running.- dreadedphoto

Dan Clark Audio Stealth Review, Interview, Measurements
Someone said the Stealth’s bass is heard, rather than felt and I think that’s a good way of putting it. I definitely *felt* the bass in the D9200, whereas the I more hear the bass notes in the Stealth.- dreadedphoto

Dan Clark Audio Stealth Review, Interview, Measurements
Not super scientific, but my only measurable way to test this is with my db meter app. My room measures at about 33db ambient and with music playing fairly loud, it averages about 45db a few feet from my head.- dreadedphoto

Dan Clark Audio Stealth Review, Interview, Measurements
I've been listening to the Stealth as my sole headphone since the end of October. I would definitely agree that "revealing" is the word. The flaws in so many songs I love have been revealed and I can't un-hear those flaws, but even with them in my face, it doesn't stop me from enjoying the...- dreadedphoto

Dan Clark Audio Stealth Review, Interview, Measurements
I initially hated the Stealth for rap using the Chord Hugo 2 and thought that maybe it just wasn’t their strength, but listening with the FiiO M17 or Burson Soloist/Holo May combo, I’ve come around. I don’t get the hard hitting bass that I do from something like the Denon D9200, but it’s...- dreadedphoto

Massdrop Fostex TH-X00 Ebony impressions thread
I haven't heard the Massdrop version, but I bought a pair of stock x00s and installed a set of E-Mu ebony cups and it made me fall in love with them all over again. Incredible pairing.- dreadedphoto

Denon AH-D2000 Headphones Intermittent Left Channel
I was actually having this exact same issue, but I narrowed it down to a problem with my E17. I read that sometimes the headphone jack connection can become loose inside the casing and shift if you move your headphone cable. I opened it up and taped a tiny square of cardboard between the...- dreadedphoto
