Is the Xonar STX an overall better card for both music and gaming? I will listen to some music as well. Not as much as I will be gaming but I'd like good audio for music too.

Hey guys. I need some help deciding on a sound card for the Sennheiser HD598 that i'm getting soon.   I play fps games at a competitive level, and listen to some house/electro music. I've narrowed my search down to two sound cards:   Asus Xonar STX   or   Creative X-FI Titanium...

Can someone help me decide on a soundcard for my HD598?   Will they sound better with the Asus Xonar ST or the Creative X-FI Titanium HD? Which one do you guys reccomend for gaming?

Yeah, I knew they were really good at music, and then many people said it was great at gaming, so it's the best of both worlds there.   I've looked at that thread countless times ^^.   Any advice on the sound card? Is  either good?

So I won't have a problem with voice if I get the X-fi card? I use teamspeak and vent and stuff like that a lot to play competitively obviously, so I just want to be sure it won't have issues.

What will happen if I just get the soundcard? How bad will the voice quality be?
