Where did you get your information claiming the S2100 is "much more rigid" than the S3000? I've seen nothing in the specs or any reviews supporting this claim. For $3000 more, I find it hard to believe the S3000 skimps on anything.

While most op-amps are a compromise, it isn’t true with the Bursons. Far from it. That said, and despite my enjoyment from them, I now have the Master 19, too, and agree, it’s incredible—and a real bargain.

For tube rolling, simply buy a used WASE 6, 1st Gen. It'll cost less than a 2nd Gen and sound exactly the same with the added advantage of tube rolling flexibility.
