There is nothing weird about WYRD. I received mine on Monday and did a few experiments with it. I hooked a y-cable between my amp and the 'audio' out on my pc, I did not play anything throught the computer, just the noise of the computer itself, after powering up the amp, the SNAPS, CRACKLES...

The mod you saw at 6moons was for an early T20, if you own a T20U, you only need to change the main caps to teflon and upgrade the wire from the pcb, (remember to remove the beads). Has it made a difference, absolutely!
