My findings echo yours exactly, interesting how some people hear differently than others.

Mine are the same as you could see from my review earlier in the thread. Sadly the treble is a bit of a mess when it comes to cymbals. You can really hear it at the end of "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac after the tambourine comes in. I'll stick with my re-cabled MH755's

Did the re-cable change the sound at all?

Just got the ZS7, they sound good, but holy driver flex batman!! I can't get a good seal because of it. I also think the ZSN sound better, especially in the treble .

Yeah I went a bit nuts and ordered another 5 pair after my initial 3 pair were so good incase they stop making them. Also ordered some mmcx connectors so will try to mod them.

I have some issue with the way the treble is handled in both the KPE and TSMR-3, I am a bit treble sensitive. The TSMR-3 I need to EQ the treble down a bit otherwise they are harsh. The KPE treble sometimes sounds out of phase to me. I wouldn't say the soundstage is too much better on the TSMR...

Holy crap, just received my Sony MH755's which I paid $10 for, they sound better than both the Kanas Pro and Tansio Mirai TSMR-3's to me. I am amazed

Yeah I would call the TSMR brighter than the KPE for sure. KPE is a bit more relaxed and not as in your face.

Yeah just after that mine sound distorted, so beyond sibilant. Put it this way, my KZ ZS6's sound a lot better in that part and they are still sibilant. Maybe mine are defective?

I did your mod to my ZS6 today using the same UV light activated glue, worked like a charm!! Now these headphones are nearly perfect!!!
