Mine are the same as you could see from my review earlier in the thread. Sadly the treble is a bit of a mess when it comes to cymbals. You can really hear it at the end of "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac after the tambourine comes in. I'll stick with my re-cabled MH755's- Scaven

I just did another listen back to back between the KPE and mh755. I'm a drummer so I need the cymbals especially hi-hats to sound right and they just sound vague and splashy with the KPE and TSMR3's to me. Crash cymbals sound like a splashy mess at times. I am listening to bands like Tool, Foo...- Scaven

I have some issue with the way the treble is handled in both the KPE and TSMR-3, I am a bit treble sensitive. The TSMR-3 I need to EQ the treble down a bit otherwise they are harsh. The KPE treble sometimes sounds out of phase to me. I wouldn't say the soundstage is too much better on the TSMR...- Scaven

Holy crap, just received my Sony MH755's which I paid $10 for, they sound better than both the Kanas Pro and Tansio Mirai TSMR-3's to me. I am amazed- Scaven

Yeah I would call the TSMR brighter than the KPE for sure. KPE is a bit more relaxed and not as in your face.- Scaven

No, I don't believe in physical burn in so i didn't. The source was a Topping DX3 Pro from my laptop playing Google Play Music song on high bandwidth setting. I will do some more later tonight from my Cayin N3 using Flac files.- Scaven

Sledgehammer - Peter Gabriel Wanna be startin something - Michael Jackson Peg - Steely Dan Lucky - Radiohead - good for sibilance Grace - Jeff Buckley - this is good for judging treble peak - 4:50 to 5:05 I was using a Topping DX3-Pro for source and...- Scaven

I've tried tip rolling, but nothing seems to fix the thin treble for me . I'm using a Cayin N3 and a Samsung Note 9 sources. Sadly to me, my Tin Audio T2's sound better than the Kanas Pro especially in the treble.- Scaven

I got my Kanas Pro's a few days ago and burnt them in guy 40 hours or so. I'm finding the treble a bit thin and sibilant at times, with cymbals especially sounding very washy and somewhat overpowering at times. The sub bass and bass sound great, imaging is very good and soundstage is just...- Scaven

My D4's I received from 11.11 are exactly the same, after all the praise they got I am very dissapointed, the highs are horrible and there are not enough lows. One of the worst purchases I have made. I tried all sorts of different tips to no avail.- Scaven

Yeah just after that mine sound distorted, so beyond sibilant. Put it this way, my KZ ZS6's sound a lot better in that part and they are still sibilant. Maybe mine are defective?- Scaven
