The Entry Level Stax Thread
Yeah I never really was a fan of Stax's naming conventions. All the Lambda's perform and sound very similarly, it would have been a lot easier if they just kept it at "Lambda" and just updated it through the years. i.e. something like "Lambda MkV" rather than "Lambda Nova Signature" or whatever...- Veamoth

The Entry Level Stax Thread
I'm about to buy a pair of new SR-407s within the next week or two, I got a couple of questions. Are there any noteworthy reliability/quality issues with the 407 that I should know about? These are going to be my first stats so I'm not too sure about any common problems. I'm also going to...- Veamoth

The Stax thread (New)
I'm looking at a SRM-T1S, but its coming from Japan so theres a sticker on the back that says "100V ONLY". Is there an internal switch to make it 120V or am I going to have to convert it manually?- Veamoth

Amp for 600Ω DT880s (≤$150)
I would need an external DAC (will be moving the setup around for use with different sources), portability isn't an issue as long as it's not much larger than the amp.- Veamoth

Amp for 600Ω DT880s (≤$150)
Thanks for the amp suggestion, I think I'll take it! I wasn't planning on getting a DAC due to budget limitations, but since that amp is only $76, would an E7 be good or is there something better?- Veamoth

Amp for 600Ω DT880s (≤$150)
Hi, I'm considering purchasing 600Ω DT880 Premiums for home use and I need an amp to drive them. I don't have much to spend on it (about $150). I was consider the following amps: Focusrite 2i2 Echo audiofire 2 Fiio E9 Objective2 Will any of these drive the 880s or is there a better choice? Thanks.- Veamoth

DT990/600ohm Portable Setup?
Hey guys, I have some money to spare, so I want to have a good portable audio setup for once. I was looking around and heard good things about the DT900 600 OHM model and it's within my budget. I however need a portable amp that can power them decently. I was considering the E7, but I'm new to...- Veamoth
