They're ALOs... Not entirely sure exactly what though. Didn't include my LOD+E5 as I only use them when I'll be stationary for a while, like when I'm studying/long journeys.

The current iPods also play gaplessly... One of the big things I missed when I moved from my Rockboxed iRiver H320 to a Sony A818... Now I have a 7G Classic I have gapless back AND I can carry everything. It's brilliant.

It's literally point and shoot. People are often too busy with their own lives. As long as you're not all creepy and secretive about it, people won't mind if you walk around with an SLR taking photos.
