well I knew this would happen. I feel like a complete idiot.I connected my interconnects to the phono instead of cd jacks on the back of the Adcom preamp.All is good now except my ego !

I'll check out the thread thanks. Nope,I did not get the jumpers.No biggie though as I'm content with the stock tubes.

Any suggestions Penchum for some tubes to use that dont require the jumper as I dont have those. Now,I wonder how much better a more expensive tubed preamp would sound.The MKIII is already a very competent performer.
