BIG step up. :-) Whether it is performing to it's full potential in my system is debateable, but at this stage I don't really care too much, it sounds so much better than the Ortofon!

I suspect this depends cartridge to cartridge and phono stage to phono stage, but my Benz Glider H2 works fine with the MM phono stage in my amp.

My entry level Project took a mid-fi turn recently. Please excuse the crappy pictures: I'm sure the headphone amp would be better off somewhere else (away from the cartridge) but space is at a premium. Hence when I'm listening to speakers, it's switched off. System shot...

Ah yes. It took me a long time to find a supply when I moved to Australia. Luckily when I moved house last year, I found the local bottle-o/offie/liquor store (delete as geographically appropriate) stocked it. It's a bit pricey but oh so worth it.

I was listening to James Carr last night. Many amazing tracks but his rendition of Pouring Water on A Drowning Man is quite something.
