Because it is a brilliant machine! I have bought one 2 weeks ago (8 gb for just 40 euros yaay!) and played around with the original firmware. Today I rockboxed it and man, it is really worth it! At least some smaller letters :). 

Get the dt1350. It's almost the same price, but definitely not the same SQ. (I have the dt1350 myself too)
