It is clearly a (white) noise floor produced by the device. It starts when pressing play on music. If I pause it, the noise remains being audible for maybe another 1 minute. After this time it stops accompanied by a small "click".

Anyone using dx170 with ibasso's own it05? I am somewhat underwhelmed cause the balanced end has a pretty high noise floor - not listenable. The background noise is also still present with 3.5mm, low gain. Is this a thing with all dx170? I got a discounted return unit in an otherwise intact state.

Impressive looks! Is that a stock cable? Any chance to get it somewhere other than buying the earphones?

Holypal, do you think it is worth trying to use Ingenic Burn Tool to flash the new firmware to my bricked X10. I saw you used this tool for the X3, and it has the same chip. Any recommendations welcomed, I am a bit ****ed up that I killed a perfectly working player with an update.

Yes, X10 sound definitely more engaging and full-bodied. I had a problem of recessed and flat sounding vocals with my iem and X3, which was solved by upgrading to X10. Also the bigger soundstage helps a lot. It is a worthy upgrade if it works properly...

A lot better interface (even when comparing with RB X3), better build quality & nice display. Soundwise: blacker background (not 100% black with sensitive earphones, but much much better), wider soundstage and better imaging, a bit bigger bass quantity, a lot more fuller and more natural...

Any idea about whether there will be a better case for X10 in the future, rather than the faux leather which is available now? Some black rubber would be great :).

Mine was untrackable for more than two weeks, then suddenly appeared in Europe a week ago and after that, it was all pretty quick. I have two 128Gb cards in it and it works flawlessly (not much of a help for ya, I know). It's still not "strong" enough for K702 to drive it properly, but man what...

Oh damn, Mr Hype was right. At the same time superior & more amusing than X3.

Does anyone using X10 with really sensitive iems? There are two things that really bother me about X3: hiss and rather small soundstage. Hopefully X10 will deal with both.
