My amp can power 600Ω cans properly, after reading the manual (had to hunt a bit.) I've read numerous places that the 600Ω versions of both the 880 and 990 have less shrill treble than the 250s and 32s, is there any truth to that?   I'm going to try to pick up a pair of K240s too, but...
