    Schiit Valhalla with HD600's

I'd like to revive this old thread. I too am wondering whether pairing the HD600s with the Schiit Valhalla is a good idea. I'm currently using a HRT Music Streamer II and a Schiit Valhalla, and I only ever listen to classical and some alternative rock. Will a HD600 or HD650 suit me better? I've...

Best $150 headphones for classical and jazz

You should consider the Fischer Audio FA-011s as well. I am thoroughly enjoying my pair, and I find they do very well with classical when paired with a tube amp. They're still pretty decent unamped though.

Looking for an Amp + DAC for Fischer Audio FA-011?

Sigh...   An unfortunate and sudden turn of events barred my purchase of the Aune X1, and I'm now in search of an amp again. Fortunately, I guess, this time I have a slightly bigger budget, and I'm considering the Matrix Cube ($271), the Maverick Audio Tubemagic D1 ($245), and of course, the...

Looking for an Amp + DAC for Fischer Audio FA-011?

Quote: Wow, I was actually just looking at the Aune X1 earlier. There's a seller from China selling these for about USD$200, with free shipping to my place. Thanks a bunch for the help guys!

Looking for an Amp + DAC for Fischer Audio FA-011?

Hmmm. Given my location, all of those products will cost a significant amount more (around an extra 30 dollars for shipping). I don't think I'll be able to afford any of those amps with the HRT Music Streamer II.    I've been looking at the HiFiMan EF2A USB AMP/DAC though, any thoughts?

Looking for an Amp + DAC for Fischer Audio FA-011?

Hello everyone.   I've owned my FA-011s for quite a while now, and I'd like to step up in terms of quality. I'm new to the world of audio equipment, you see, and I'd like to see how far I can push my headphones. I'm willing to spend $250, but I think I might be able to scrape together a few...

REVIEW: Fischer Audio FA-011 - OFF THE DEEP END!!

Regarding noisymotel, I'd recommend them. Got my pair from them, excellent service, speedy shipping. It'll cost you a little more though, and international shipping is pretty pricy (cost me AUD$26 to get them here). No regrets though, thoroughly enjoying these cans.

    Fischer Audio FA-011 Rattling?

Well, after listening to them rather closely for nearly half an hour, I can safely say that I think the rattling has gone down a bit. Maybe I'm just getting used to it, or maybe it really is getting softer. These headphones are relatively new, so I think I'll observe them for a while more.

    Fischer Audio FA-011 Rattling?

Turns out the piece of glue was actually a really thin wire glued to the surface of the drum.   And I think you're right about the vibrating hair thing. If I position the headphones such that there is no contact with my hair, the rattling seems to die down a bit. Hmm. I'll test it out a...

    Fischer Audio FA-011 Rattling?

Haha I'm kind of a huge noob -- is there a quick burst of "rattling" in the intro, right before the guy says "wasted penguins"? I hear a "rattling", but I doubt it's the headphones...

    Fischer Audio FA-011 Rattling?

Hello, this is my first post on head-fi and it's about the rattling noise on the Fischer Audio FA-011s which I am experiencing. Although it only occurs during very complex and very low tracks, and there is very little of it, it greatly disturbs me. I don't even listen to bass heavy music, and...
