Yes, I would definitely rule out Grados...What kind of amp are you running it with? You might want to try a quality amp (perhap tubes) would lessen the discomfort.

i'm putting my vote in for the corda move, which is similar to the corda headsix. FWIW, I think they drive they k701s to a good volume. I've got it set to high current. The start position on the volume is 7 oclock and they reach near live levels at about 2-3 oclock. Now unless you're interested...

I've gotta kick myself in the butt sometimes for being so impatient. I just got the corda move and now this comes out. This would have been perfect for me since I don't use the usb. Same thing happened when I got the govibe v5 and the v6 came out the next day.

great price. too bad I hade IEMs...just the thought of something going 2" into my ear canal doesn't sit well with me.
