    Update.   My LCD-2s came in from repair, They did not have the new connectors on them, but no cracked wood.   I set them aside for a week and when I came back the wood was cracked on the right cup. What? In the mean time I had called and asked about the updated cups with the connectors...

    15" i7 macbook pro -> Jolida Glass FX DAC -> Schiit Lyr -> Moon-Audio Silver Dragon cables ->Audeze LCD-2.   Next steps: Moon-Audio cable upgrades for jumpers and USB.
