No, its not just bass quantity ~ I would describe a "punchy" bass as being a tight, controlled, accurate and full (but not over full) accompanied by and including a nice clean and tight kick drum, the bass would not be lazy and certainly not muddy... My favorite type of music (what ever genre)...

Thanks for the reply's...   Isn't the RS180 a wireless headphone that includes a built-in battery powered amplifier, so your card only needs to drive the input of the transmitter ?   Yes, I believe so...   So the Senn RS 180 has a 3.5mm analog input and you run a 3.5mm male to male...
