Hello!   I have a vioelectric dac v800 that I cannot figure out why it won't work in linux. Im running Manjaro 0.8.13.1 Ascella.   The device works great in fedora and ubuntu distros. What am I missing here? Tried different mixers but it won't show up.   Any tips are greatly recieved...

  What amp would you recommend to get better soundstage out of the HD800?

I use my hd800 with the vioelectric v200. Put the amp on full gain and they sound Amazing.

The k 701 are not warm sounding. If by warm you mean colored. These are more cold sounding and fast sounding and not forgiving. But this are good headphones with great soundstage.

Is it really that smart to cover the airvents on that amplifier? :P

Does anyone here own both the k702 and the sennheiser hd800? Im thinking about buying the k702 to have it at my other apartment since its a pain in the ass traveling with the hd800.   I like wide soundstage and thats what the k702 has just like the hd800 so I'm just looking for a headphone...

I have 5 cans right now. HD800, T1, HD650, akg k242, and sony mdr xb700 I mostly listen to the hd800 and the k242, all the others are just collecting dust or are in their boxes. Don't feel like selling them yet tho, already sold my akg k701 and they were not even burned in, 5hours of headtime...
