Just wondering what (if any) was the last time the Westone UM2 was updated? I've seen posts here from as far back as 2005 saying they were first released in 2003. I'm considering getting them but not sure how I would feel about buying 9 years old model :)   Also wanted to ask about the fit...

It's true that Jays doesn't have a really high end model that would compete with the likes of Westone 4 so in that sense it would seem logical to release quad armature model. Hmm didn't even know about the x-jays. After a quick search I found out they were supposed to be the smallest quadro armature iems. But they were supposed to be release back in 2010!   In any case I'm sure if they do release them now they would be well above the current q-jays pricing, so...

Could be, but I'm really hoping they won't do that. What they should do is update the current q-jays keeping dual drivers and the size, as the size is exactly what I'm after and release another triple driver model that would be larger and obviously more expensive.

Yeah that would be, but I don't think they could fit triple drivers in cans that small :) Plus I'm sure it would increase the price a lot, which I hope will stay the same as the current model.
