IMO, I would listen to whatever I had now that sounds good, even if it is a $10 pair of walmart cheapys and save the other $40 and get the e17. There are so many options, it is overwhelming. If you must get something now, get the e11 and save up for something better.

I bought the LP's back in November when Radio Shack dropped them to $99.00 I listened to them and loved them after buring in a few hours.
