couldnt find many reviews on the 550  should i go with the hd25 or sacrafice a long cable for the hfi 580 M50s look like a shorter cord than the hfi

What's the ddifference between  the 580 and 780?  Are you saying the 780 is not quantity bass but 580 is?

i understand about having quality over style  im just saying it would be a bonus if they looked nice  and i was looking at the hfi 780 mostly for ipod and some comouter use  the reason i dont want the snnheisers is because arent the open end pronee to leak music
