I think you might consider keeping the Bose set for the noise cancellation.    If you have the money to drop on both the Beats Pro, and the QC15s, you'd best look above the ATH-M50. I like them, but they're easily outdone for the amount of money you have disposable. 

One thing to note is that since everyone has different tastes, pretty much every headphone will have its detractors. It's literally impossible to please everyone as the various categories of music preferences are mutually exclusive.    Not that I'm any kind of expert but it may help other...

I love my SRH440's. I suppose when I want my music to sound frisky I can use the "Electronic" EQ setting on iTunes. IMO, emotion best comes from the artist, so it's not like any songs you hear will suddenly sound like PhD dissertations.
