I will back sometime in the future when there is a need to upgrade. But with the quality of the HD650 that is probably still many years until that day.

I finally got around to upgrade my pads after 9 years of daily use. They were nasty and started to get very uncomfortable. I relay dont understand why I had not done it earlier. I will not wait 9 years to next time I upgrade. I went with the original pads and head band padding from Sennheiser...

Looking forward to see a test of these. I will get them if soundquality is good, because of the mic.

Essence also got a line out without amp that should be used if your gona use an external amp.

Noise aint a problem. I got a quiet listeningroom and I guess it doesnt leak so much sound that it possible can annoy any neighbours. What kind of amp is recommended for HD 650?

What do ou guys think about Sennheiser HD 650? Will it manage to perform okey on my setup? And would there be any supperior headsetts for my usage?

Would a Xonar Essence be enought to power the allmighty HD 650? And possible upgrade to an Fiio E9 amp later? EDIT: Im realy close to order one :D

I dont think I go for Senn PC 360 when I already got PC 350. But Ultrasone Pro 900 seems very interesting. Would my Xonar manage to drive them properly? I also noticed that I couldnt find any norwegian shops selling Ultrasone, but I will look better if its no problem driving these with a Xonar.
