Yamaha EPH-100 Alternative?
The FXD80's do look tempting, especially since a lot of Head-Fiers are talking about it. Might have to get a pair.- RokYa

Yamaha EPH-100
Hi guys, I've had the EPH-100's for more than 8 months now and I think they are brilliant. However I've had some issues with them which are making me consider getting different earphones. As many have mentioned here my EPH-100's have the moisture caused sound problem as well. I also find...- RokYa

Future Sonics Atrio MG7 Review and Appreciation thread
I just got the Yamaha EPH100 and upon an initial and very brief comparison to the MG7s I can say that the Yama's have a better soundstage.- RokYa

Future Sonics Atrio MG7 Review and Appreciation thread
Quote: These are Comply T100's. I actually prefer the sound on the original foams supplied by Future Sonic but I find them too uncomfortable (almost like it's tickling my brain!) probably due to they're flat shape, looks like they've been cut from a long foam block. I found that with the...- RokYa

Beats Mixr?
Quote: Yea everything is so expensive here when you compare it to the prices in the US Quote: Agreed. The HD-25s are better than the Mixr and they're cheaper too so I'd definitely go for the Sennheisers- RokYa

Beats Mixr?
I really like the Denons. I'm not too sure how much they leak but my guess would be that they leak a little more than the Denons as the D1100's are over-the-ears whereas the Mixr's are on-the-ears. Are they available where you live? Because I was told that they are only available in the UK for now.- RokYa

Beats Mixr?
Well they're not as bad as the pros! I mean where I work they are £250 and I think it would be reasonable if it was under £200. Also I forgot to mention that they seem to have good build quality, except for the exposed wires which I don't like!- RokYa

Beats Mixr?
We sell them where I work so I've had the chance to try them out a couple of times. I'm not a fan of Beats at all but I got to say that these actually sound good yet they are quite uncomfortable to wear. It's basically a mash-up of Solo's and Pro's but with a suprising nice sound considering...- RokYa

Future Sonics Atrio MG7 Review and Appreciation thread
Hi guys, I thought I'd give my review on the MG7's. For months I'd been looking for an upgrade for my Klipsch S4's and having a couple of threads on head-fi I first went for the UE700's (at this point Navmau had recommended me the MG7's but I was unsure). The UE700 were completely...- RokYa

TF10 Alternative: Atrio MG7 vs ATH CK90Pro vs JVC FXT90 vs Sony EX700
Hi guys, Just thought I'd post an update as I've now got both the FXT90's and the MG7's. As an upgrade from the S4's the MG7's are a major step up in the low-end response but quite similar, maybe even slight recessed, in the mids and treble although I feel that after some burn-in this will...- RokYa

TF10 Alternative: Atrio MG7 vs ATH CK90Pro vs JVC FXT90 vs Sony EX700
Quote: That's exactly what makes these forums so interesting. Everybody perceives their equipment differently because the enjoyment of music is so subjective. In all fairness though I did try the Golds with my phone which I don't usually do so maybe it would have been a different story...- RokYa

TF10 Alternative: Atrio MG7 vs ATH CK90Pro vs JVC FXT90 vs Sony EX700
Quote: It's about £150 ($230). Just to update you guys I have ordered the FXT90's from accessoryjack. I'm really hoping I like them as much as the TF10's, minus the fit.- RokYa

TF10 Alternative: Atrio MG7 vs ATH CK90Pro vs JVC FXT90 vs Sony EX700
Quote: I think I'm going to eliminate the CK90pro's as from what I've read the JVC's seems better suited to me and plus the Technica's are more expensive. I mainly listen to hip-hop hence why the atrio's are a top contender, but would you say the Technica's are suited to this genre? ...- RokYa

TF10 Alternative: Atrio MG7 vs ATH CK90Pro vs JVC FXT90 vs Sony EX700
Quote: I've tried the Golds and although I think I may have not had the right fit at the time I really didn't like them. My S4's sounds much better. But the Copper's where pretty good, yet I don't think they are worth the price they are at. Quote: Yes, this is why I've been a...- RokYa

JVC HA-FXT90 Thread
Thanks Nipit & Jiff I love the clarity, soundstage and separation on the TF10 but I have found that sometimes they can be too detailed and the music just loses their 'fun' element. If the FXT90's are a little less detailed then they just may be ideal. About how much burn time do you think the...- RokYa

TF10 Alternative: Atrio MG7 vs ATH CK90Pro vs JVC FXT90 vs Sony EX700
Quote: Sounds like the overall cost will be way over budget for me and a hassle to send them overseas. Maybe it would just be easier to get a more comfortable triple driver iem like the SE535? Either way it is out of budget for me. Quote: Sounds like you are impressed with...- RokYa

JVC HA-FXT90 Thread
Quote: I've currently got the TF10's and I love the sound but hate the fit so I will be returning them. I started a thread looking for earphones with TF10 sound quality (http://www.head-fi.org/t/589406/tf10-alternative-atrio-mg7-vs-ath-ck90pro-vs-jvc-fxt90-vs-sony-ex700). I've also...- RokYa

TF10 Alternative: Atrio MG7 vs ATH CK90Pro vs JVC FXT90 vs Sony EX700
Thanks lee730, I did consider the custom tips and although I'm not sure about pricing I think it may push me out of my budget. Also the memory wire is quite annoying as I wear them straight down, it's just too stiff. I read great things about the fx700 on Joker's review but it seems the...- RokYa
