^ The light doesn't even turn on anymore. Once I inserted the fresh batteries, they were red for a bit but quickly turned orange and then just shut off! So it might not be the cable, it might be that ANC circuit you're talking about.

It stopped working out of nowhere, all I hear is this "fzzzz" sound. I thought maybe the batteries were dead so I inserted fresh and it worked for about 5 minutes and then stopped working again. I've contacted monster, but they haven't contacted me back. Is there anything at all I can do to fix...
