Does anyone know how to get their hands on these "new" pads and if they are any different than the ones from TTVJ for years now? I've failed to spot them on the Grado website along the other pads.

I haven't got much head time with my rs1i since I got a set of dt 880s.

I'm curious about the device at this pricepoint as well. It's on massdrop at half off.

If you really don't think it makes enough of a difference, sell/return the amp. I've been running my Grado RS1i without them for years and I enjoy them plenty fine. I have a small portable amp that didn't add or detract much to my ears and buying an amp for my Grados has just never interested...

Lol, I haven't found a need to go here once I had my rs1i. I bought the expensive thing and upgradidis was cured for a time. The only  reason I'm not fully satisfied is i listen to more genres outside of rock than I used to, like trance, than I used to.

So I swapped out my cables (because it came with two). Turns out one of my cables was bad, haven't had any sound cutting out since the switch.

For the third time in the 14 months I have owned my M-80s, sound is cutting out in the left channel. I sent them back for repair the previous two times and will not do so this time. I will fix these dang things on my own.

The vents increase sound stage and very slightly, bass. Every time I've covered them I've noticed.

So I was just using my Z02 and I started hearing what can only be described as a heartbeat. Really slow. I unplugged it from my source and it was still coming through my headphones with nothing plugged in otherwise and it is beating in sync with the low battery light. 

Would it be worth buying a used asgard or something similar in price range or should I stick to plugging my RS1i into my Yamaha rx471? Been in this conundrum since I bought the Yamaha for my speakers.
