Same here. Meter at zero when turned off and never fluctuates when set to desired setting when turned on (4V for PX4's) 

Hello and thanks for your reply. I am running the KR PX4's with a TS BGRP for now. To me, this is a great sounding combo but I just wanted to experiment a bit. If anything possibly soften it up a tad.

Ok. This is funny. I pictured teddy with the HD800's and LOL! Hilarious.

I heard the Pinnacle paired with an HD800 at a meet and it was pure bliss. One of those stations I kept going back to because I couldn't believe how well it sounded.

The Nuforce Icon HDP paired with the HD650 is something to consider.

I really liked the V200 with my LCD 2.2's. Not sure if it is just me but I possibly liked the LCD-2 better than the LCD-3 out of the V200.

Anybody?. I am getting upgrade-itus and have been thinking about the Apex for some time now.

Not sure about the cable. I used to own the HDP/HD650 combo on my desktop and I thought that was a nice all around starter setup. Personally I wouldn't worry about the cable thing for now and just save up for a better dac/amp so when you do get the HD800 you would have something descent to drive...

Just tuned in to this discussion. Used to have the HDP paired with the Senn 650's. That was a nice setup. Such a small footprint on the desk that offered quality sound for the cost.

After much thought and reading I have decided to go with Violectric. I went with the V200/V800 combo and hopefully this will satisfy me for awhile. Thanks for all your input.
