I'm wondering who professionally re-cables the K-1000's with equinox's, I just bought a pair of the wires and I want it done right. Thanks in advance!

I just got my modded Zhaolu yesterday, and the volume pot wasn't connected. If I leave it off, would it mean it's always at max volume? So I could control the volume from my amplifier if I wanted to? Would that sound as good? Also ... how do I put the volume pot in? I'm afraid I'll break...

Has anyone heard this cable? A search on this forum doesn't bring much. Looking for impressions, comparisons to other interconnects, etc. Thanks in advance guys

The max I'll pay is $2,000 (or so) I listen to a lot of electronica, and metal. Some classical and opera. I'd be running this through a DAC1. I've searched through the forums on this subject, but I thought I'd make this personalized for me. Thanks in advance
