    Version 2 is a step up in sound quality to my ears. It has same bass with improved mids and highs. Sound is more balanced in version 2.

    @ozkan you can also try to only have 2 vent holes open on each earbud, use some tape and see what you think about it.

    I got my T-Music DIY Earbud Version 2 yesterday and they have burn in for 20 hours. My first impressions vs version 1 is the bass is about the same, the mids and highs are improved, the sound is more crisp and clear and it is more balanced than version 1.

    Hey Master Troll when I said TROLL I was talking about your custom title and nothing else.     My S500 sounded great on oben box, but with burn-in they sounded  even better. When I changed to velour pads + foam inserts they sound just superb.

    I also waiting for an AD797 dual to mono op amp, but I think the AD797 op amps have a tendency to oscillate and run hot and maybe needs some bypassing?  I'm not a guru on op amps or DIY but I have built my O2 amp, so maybe somebody else can confirm that. I think an another option to the AD797 is...
