I was wondering how bad the rolloff was on the UM1's and how I could cure it with my X5. Also, are there any other tips to fix this? Be it amps, Attenuators etc.

Recently I've noticed that the clear plastic has turned to white. Which looks dangerously like it's being bent and on the edge of cracking. I'm not able to get a good picture of it, but I'm very worried that it might crack. Or is this normal for a UM1?
