Where is my bottleneck?
JRiver is a high quality playback program, superior to iTunes even by my own ears, I have tried Foobar, I found it to be uninspiring and un-intuitive, I feel if I was a open source Linux type guy I would have liked it more. I payed real money for JRiver 😆😉. I have payed for every other part of...- 91tyler

Where is my bottleneck?
Electrical power like you mean a power conditioner? Wow I am starting to realize how little I know, no idea what a usb reclocker/regenerator is or what a DDC is, I’ll have to look that stuff up and do some research. Thanks very much!- 91tyler

Where is my bottleneck?
Do you mind giving me a brief summary of why that is better then a laptop, i’m not quizzing you I’m just curious. Also is it impacting my sound quality that my entire music library is stored on an external HDD instead of SDD?- 91tyler

Where is my bottleneck?
I am thinking about upgrading something in my system and I don't know what to upgrade. This is my set up. Running Apple lossless files on JRiver Media Player 26 on my Lenovo laptop, going out USB into my Schiit Byfrost DAC, then out with some blue Jean RCA cables into my Woo Audio WA6-SE, then...- 91tyler

Woo Audio WA6 - SE + Sennheiser HD800s
The WA added low end punch eh? Very interesting, I am tossing and turning over and over between the Feliks Elise and the WA6-SE. They both seem really great, and work very great with the 800s'. Any experience with the Feliks?- 91tyler

Woo Wa6-se vs Feliks Elise
Hmm, interesting. Aside to the tube roll off (which I don't know too much about) why are you so convinced that the Elise is so much better?- 91tyler

Woo Wa6-se vs Feliks Elise
Does anybody have any experience comparing the two amps. I am thinking in the the context of the HD800s personally but would be interested in any impressions. Can't find anything on this comparison on the internet let alone headfi. I am in the market for buying one or the other. i wonder if the...- 91tyler

HM-901
Dude i gave rock box a fare run. And i have to say i freakin hated it. Its great in theory but it had no usb compatibility, it was a absolute bitch to remove from my 801. It also made a super annoying sound when ever the LCD screen was lit...like a squealing drone sort of sound. Got my smart...- 91tyler

Given the fat price tag on this amazing unit, the trade-in offer seems like the only way iam going to be able to afford this beauty. I'm so weary of deadlines. There is always a...- 91tyler
