So do the premium have the same driver as the pro models?  I have the dt990 250 that I thought used an older driver.  Is this true?  If so, what are the differences between the two?  I have searched and everyone links to the same old comparison that makes no mention of driver version.

Just got my replacement e7 and same problem.  It is probably a dock connector issue on the e9.

I still have this problem even after following the steps above.  I am not the only one with this issue, so the thread needs to drop the "solved" title please.

I too am having this issue.  Have owned the e9 for a couple months with no problems what so ever.  I just received my e7 that while docked will only play the right channel via usb.  When undocked the e7 plays fine, as does the e9.    Anyone know of a solution?
