I just got my 4.Ai and the sound with the right ear peaces and with my hifi-man HM801 is incredible.. I wouldn't compare it to the HD-800 I'd say it's on par with the Stax SR-009 which I listened to recently in Tokyo. I'm more then impressed... It causes my body to freeze sometimes ... I'd call...

Nothing comes close to the audio quality I get from my HM-801. I feel sorry for everyone that missed out! 

I'm really enjoying my RE272 .. after a month of use they're sounding even better more detailed.. which sounds impossible.

I just ordered some HE272 from Hifiman. They're $250 and from what I've read they seem to be the best bang for your buck ?!
