For best results, NO. Using the headphone jack to connect to your Burson is not a great idea; but it will do if you need to use that setup for a short time until you get your DAC. Listen for yourself and see if it sounds alright for the short term.

The clear gel pads are discontinued. I've looked everywhere to track down some remaining stock, but to no avail. You could always put an add out for a used pair on the for sale forums.   The black gel pads get a bit sweaty, but are real comfortable. Try them instead (I got mine at B&H).
