Just as a follow up, I got the DJ100PRO phones.   I think that I will like them, they seem comfortable so far and the sound is nice right out of the box.  I think that it still has time to improve a little as they wear-in and I get used to them.   For anyone that lives in the Milwaukee...

Thanks for the recommendation.   I am interested in the DJ100 (I think that they are shown as PRODJ100 on the KOSS website).   Would a laptop be any different for driving them as opposed to an iPod Touch/iPhone?   It would be an extra $60 for them (chicken feed to some of you here)...
