Budget setup.. 512MB Shuffle + $15 earbuds + home made case The cheap earbuds are just to hold me over until my MD33's arrive.

I just purchased a pair of Sony MDR-EX71s a month ago. The sound quality was great but the insulation dissolving at a rapid rate. I was going to consider the EX51s or 81s but Im worried about the insulation dissolving agian. So I’m wondering what are other good earbuds for under a $50.00 budget?
