I would imagine that with an IEM this expensive they would have figured out quality control This is disappointing to hear

How would you compare the DUNU 1000/ 2000 to the Future Sonic Atrios MG7? looking for an upgrade from the atrios, ,mainly a more flatter/neutral sound with a strong sub bass presence same with the Philips Fidelio s1/s2?

  i can confirm this, i live in hk and the Fidelio x2 are in stores already, they retail for the same price as the original x1's 3299 HKD (apox 423USD) but can be easily discounted to 2900HKD (apox 372 USD) dont belive it, here...

someone mention atrios? how do these compare? is the bass as deep, are the mids similar? Is the mid bass overpowering?   very couriers and quite surprised i haven't heard of these since Linus reviewed them

upper mids yes very annoying   4.2 to 4.8 khz is were that spike is   i eq it down, sound's ALOT better

do these have very good sub bass extension? i am more interested in more balanced mids and high and a strong sub bass 

Yes the atrios are being discontinued, grab them while you can   don't worry there will be a replacement, FS is not abandoning the consumer market (via twitter have a look)

why not get the triplefi10  coustem molded to your ear?   Unique Melody are well know for good quality remolds and they do the triple fis

etymotics research er-4   very neutral iems, you can get it coustem fit aswell if you want
