Thank you both for your replies. I do aggree that the amount of bass is purely subjective. In fact i found the bose qc15 or the koss porta pros to be too bass heavy, but i found myself thinking that with certain tracks my hd595s could have some nore bass. (Not common though) Maybe this helps...

There is no SQ difference if you use asio or DS. Some say it's better to not to use ASIO for playback in foobar.
