I have TA20 Plus, TA 26S and Aune S17 Pro. I have to say they aren't that different. I have a good tube stash with both expensive and cheap tubes for the Xduoo's and changing tubes is not night and day. If I would compare it to an EQ....1db + or - here and there at most. Just subtle differences...

I got my i2s cable today for my ET3 and Smsl D400 pro, and playing cd and airplay with DSD upsampling. But I don't get sound out on DSD512 only on DSD256 and lower. Anyone know why? DAC should handle DSD512 also.

I have to say...after owning these for a few days, and not having much hope of them sounding good I must say I'm pleasantly surprised.... but only after - 3.0 db on bass frequencys from 25hz to 400hz. And a slight treble boost. The mid cloud is gone and the width is good. Not bad for a $100...

I ordered the KA11 today. Needed a little dongle and with the app support it will be great as on the go light music system 😀

SMSL D400 Pro has both AES and I2S. Cost around $600 at the moment. Just waiting for my ET3 and will test all outputs 🙂

No it do not. D90iii circuit board doesn't look changed at all other than the new DAC chips. The SU-X vs SU-10 has changed a bit it looks like, especially around the power supply's. Think I will order one.

Yeah....they've sat nicely in my tubestash for over 10 years. They weren't cheap then...but now the prices are just crazy. Most of my tubestash was bought 10-15 years ago. So almost no need to buy new/nos tubes for me now. Just gear to try them in.

This evenings listening session on Ta-26s with EF600 as dac with nos filter. A bit of a Frankestein setup with Visseaux 6j5 tubes. R70x's sing really good in this setup. Eversolo Streamer as source.

You could possibly try and tape them down....unless they are magnetic sensors or something.

Look at first post. All information is there. You can only use lid with built in clamp because of some sensor that need the lid to be in place to start cd spinning.

I' ve just received my Arya Organic, and after listening to some upright bass heavy acoustic music I've realised that there is some unfortunate vibration going on in the left earcup. I've tried changing left and right cable, another cable completely, and also other amps...but the vibration noise...

Just received the EF600 and using the XS with it. Surprising how different the A90D and the EF600 sound. Going to test them both with the Ef's DAC to listen more what the difference is after my vacation is over.

It took it's time, but it's here and burning in. 30 hours on it so far. Needed another flavour of amp/dac and so far.....it's different from A90D, but very good. Edition XS are my go to phones at the moment. Having some Verum 1 MKII on the way....bit long wait for these.

I listen to it more as pre-amp vs headphones. I have the Kali Audio In-5's. I really enjoy this combo.

As @askeladden says the X3 price has been around $170 here in Norway for the last 3 weeks. I bought one, but it had bad connection at the connector on the right earcup so I'm waiting for my replacement. These are new sealed units, produced in September 2020.

Got the notification at 15:30 and confirmed order mail at 15:33. So didn't even think about it or hesitate. It said "Last One" when I ordered it. Now it says 15-25 days for next batch to arrive at Audiophonics.fr. So got lucky this time 🙂

It's not a software problem but physical problem with bad soldering on the opamps. So if you suspect to have this problem the unit need to be returned. I guess you can fix it yourself if you know how to solder and to identify the components.

So, with the new update it will play MQA-files from the Tidal App as well?
