how do you get it to work consistently? i can only get it to work sometimes in really, really simple layouts. i've figured out how to make basic layouts, but routing traces by hand is becoming a huge pain (main reason why i want to switch from expressPCB to eagle)

in an attempt to make my MINT as small as possible, i dont want a volume control pot in there. do i just jumper all 6 holes where the pot's pins would sit?

what are the best resistors (as in, which ohm rating, not brand, source...etc) to be used for the mint? which ones will sound best? the guide on Tangent's site doesnt say specifically which resistors to use. i listen to mostly rock, oldies and some classical if that matters. thanks
