I got mine today aswell, boy is it a sexy machine. Anyway, I don't have any background hiss, whatsoever, using MDR-Q55 (yeh, not audiophile-approved) or either my HD580. (btw SS isn't that bad actually, I only use it for the transfer process and it's hella fast!)

yeh, I've got SS3 installed. (no HD3 yet ) I allready have all my albums sorted in folders according to their genre, so I guess that'll stay intact if I load them in the HD3. I'm still curious how the SS3-playlists are handled by the HD3
