Where's the best price for Westone UM1 Comply Tips??
I need to get some new comply tips, preferably the short model. Anyone know of a good website that has them for a decent price? Inexpensive shipping options would be a plus as they weigh nothing. Thanks. -Steve- sjt78

Naim NAPSC + Headline or Headamp GS-1 or RS Raptor?
With all due respect sacd lover, the OP asked a focused question which did not include a Singlepower amp. Sometimes your fanboyism is a bit over the top. Instead of helping him out you are just adding to his confusion. I swear every post of yours is a running commercial for SP. Now back to...- sjt78

Naim NAPSC + Headline or Headamp GS-1 or RS Raptor?
I think you need to make one basic decision first, do you want a SS or a tube amp? I have both and about 95% of the time I use my SS amp (GS-1). I love my tube amp (Morgan Jones design) but when I get a chance to listen it is usually in short spurts ot time and I'd rather be listening to music...- sjt78

Am I being unreasonable...
I would have read the ad the same way you did. I would have expected the brand new pair to be unused and that it would be complete meaning it had the cable.- sjt78

Decided to buy GS-1
Just buy it, you won't regret it. Plus if you don't like it send it back within 14 days. I made the mistake of selling off my first one and couldn't wait to find another to buy. I had a fairly maxxed out M^3 and still preferred the GS-1 by a large margin. The new modules won't be for sale for a...- sjt78

Challenge...can you identify this cd player?
Can you identify this cd player just by looking at the inside? Here's the pic: The only hint I will give is that it is not one of the cd players in my sig. I'm curious to hear what people think. I'll post some close-ups later if you need help identifying this model. -Steve- sjt78

blue jeans or headroom?
I'd definitely go with the Blue Jeans IC. I just received a couple of pairs of their best RCA interconnects and they are made extremely well and sound great. I'd expect their min>RCA cable to just as good. You can't beat the qualityrice ratio of Blue Jeans cable. I plan on buying quite a few more. -
do you use winter tires?
For those of you that would like to avoid the hassle of changin out your A/S tires for snow tires, Nokian makes the WR tire that is a *4* season tire. They get rave reviews by customers all over the internet. I've never personally tried them, but might try them out for my wife's car once her...- sjt78

I am in deep trouble thanks to Dr. Lloyd!
Can someone explain this part of the description: "The HD150 comes with two spare sockets and both a JJ ECC99 and Russian 6N6P as well as a new Tung-Sol 12AX7 and a Sovtek 5751—lots of combinations for tube rolling connoisseurs." Couple of pics of my 05 Forester XT: This first pic is how it looked after we bought the Thule roof box at a garage sale for $10! We haven't had a need for the box yet, so it sits on the shelf in the garage and the bike racks went back on. This second pic is from last November just...- sjt78
