It is not the download that failed on mine, It is just stuck at updating at various percentages and at times, pop a Upgrade failed. Awaiting the local downloaded package to see if local updates work.

Sorry for ranting, but 3 updates later, the top status is still messed up when battery percentage is enabled. And the 12hr clock is shown without am/pm. It seems like a very obvious UI problem that no one noticed ?

I tested yesterday as well. To use the plugin to upsample to 96Khz. My goal is lesser to improve the sound but more on the stability. However, I noticed that certain songs are good. certain songs will get crackles. very noticible.

I think poweramp will perform upsampling to 96khz or something when you chose the hires setting. Has deleted since and will probably reinstall to test. Thanks for the compilation, I think they are accurate.

spotify allow you to specific external SD card as offline storage. But i tend to use internal rather.

@brainfog on a second thoughts, I dunno if the frequency status on the top bar is reliable. The volume show 0 when it is playing well at ~40. The top bar show 48Khz when the flac ripped from CD is 44.1Khz This usually happened after a reboot.

I find reasonable performance using software like Solid Explorer to download from NAS or PC.

In case anyone noticed, i found that R6iii doesn't have Widevine DRM in the OS, not even a L3. of coz' folks will argue if you really want to play DRM protected video on a small DAP.

This is consistent to what I noticed. I think it just the spotify behaviour for this R6iii. I compared it with my Ibasso DX220, it show 44.1Khz for both podcast and regular song (tested with Pet Shop Boys)

I think it is possible for multiple App to trap the same Android Audio Event when earphone is plug or unplug, or certain buttom function, highlighted by @Electrocrytic . I guess it is up to the OS to maintain state, and also the possible status of DAC device when multiple App accessing the same...

BTW, do you have multiple Music Player app installed ? I do experiencing some shuttering when Neutron was playing, but PowerAmp was also trying to play.

Got a similar problem on "No Sound". The work around is to unplug and plug the headphone. Feedback to neutron and hiby. :) As for shuttering, you could take another card. I have tested with an old Sandisk Ultra but using a Samsung EVO now, no issue with shuttering.

That specific case is not SAF problem. More of once you run Neutron after boot up, it wouldn't find the neccessary directory/folder/files. You need to wait for a while, probably for mounting or additional permission acquistion. After you wait for a few seconds, it will run normally. Another...

Yes, it is a 3rd party app. However, the problem seems to be relating to the OS sequence. Likewise, there is another problem of Audio slience immediately after reseting. Like the audio interface has not be properly Initialized after bootup, or take a while for it to be completely Initialized.
