I'm trying to play audio cds through Foobar, and it skips really badly. It's not the cd - they play fine in Windows Media Player. Is there something I need to configure to play it correctly?

I'm trying to get some decent bass when I listen to music at work. I'm thinking of plugging my headphones into an old subwoofer, but the subwoofer has a line-out for each speaker. Is there a way to use my headphones with this and preserve stereo sound?
