It's been awhile since I have been on head-fi I bought these headphones since my k81dj's were attacked by my dog haha for a portable phone for use straight out of the iphone I think they sound decent but I do have to set my eq to treble booster to even out frequency response.  Very comfortable...

    S4 v. Apple in Ears

I have both and the s4i's to my ears sound better with a very wide soundstage sometimes I forget that I'm listening to a set of iem's. The ADDIEM do sound good and are very comfortable but don't have the same impact as the s4i's do. I think that the s4i's are the best value in the iem market I...

    Nice amp for Sleek SA6

Every area of sound is improved, much tighter bass and cleaner crisper highs and the mid range sounds amazing, overall makes listening much less fatiguing because you don't have to turn up the volume loud to get the details out of the music I hear things I have never heard before with this combo.

    help picking new speakers

Audioengine A5 or A2. Fantastic sounding speakers for a good price. Hook them up with a decent soundcard/dac and a powered sub and you will have a killer sounding computer rig. Also they have an internal amp.

I have $250 to spend on 2.0 computer speakers. Help me spend it.

Same thing here pooMonger I have the A2's and looking for sub that has all the features of the AS8 but at a lower price tag. I like that it has a high level minijack in-out which is something very rare for powered subs I can't find any other besides the microvee which is $$$$$.

    XtremeMac FS1 vs Griffin TuneBuds...?

the FS1's are awesome iem's for the price, nice warm sound with jaw dropping bass when a low bass note hits for a iem. It takes a long burn in for these to really open up the high end of the frequency range. I've had mine for about a year and now sound so much better then when I first got them.

    iAUDIO U5 ?

I didn't realize there is no FLAC support. It still looks like it would be a good portable player for on the go with a good set of iem's. I wonder how the SQ is compared to iaudio7? I am not looking for a reference player just something with good SQ and battery life and something other then an IPOD.

Cowon recently released this flash player but I can't find any reviews on it. I am in need of a new portable player and this seems to be what I am looking for, small and minimal with user adjustable EQ. Can anyone here tell me about it.

Looking for some headphones for bassy rap music.

K81dj for sure. Great portable good looking phones that are easily driven without an amp and have a very deep bass response and they are very tough you can beat the crap out of them and not worry about it.
