well i got my sony ex81s today and so far i'm happy with them. firstly, i got the "SL" versions, which with the extension is too long and without too short if you hope to keep the shuffle in your pocket and not on the lanyard. secondly, they are very comfortable, much better than the stock...

i'll ask again: betweem FLAC and video playback, video playback is the geek feature?? How about an ECU remapping in a car? whats the geek feature? a remapping that increases fuel economy or one that increases overall power a little bit.

my shuffle finally came in. the sound quality out of the stock earbuds were pretty good (imo) for music that doesnt have a lot of bass. i'm about to get a pair of the sony ex81s, hopefully it'll be a nice step up.

i was very interested in the monolith 7010 so i ordered one of ebay. Unfortunately it was only the 256mb version. it costs about 75 british pounds or $180cnd. From what i've read is the sound quality is pretty good, but the UI sucks, along with the reliablity. The feature set is very appealing...

thats good to hear (no pun intended). I guess i'll have to give the stock ear buds a shot and judge its sound and the relative improvements you say the er6i's have. i'm actually caught between the er6i and sony ex81. Theres a $40 price difference. any opinions?

first off, i'm sort of new hear. I spend a lot of my time lurking. I know there's meier audio ($155), but where else? google searchs have only found me places that sell retail ($200+). theres also DJ1s but i'm not too crazy about the white, plus i dont know how they stack up against...
